Creatonnes : : Now and Future.



We can say that if there was no creativity, there would'nt have been any development. Infact development has lot to do with some or the other person's creativity. You must be wondering how? It's because, invention is nothing but refined form of creativity. This can be backed by the fact that until something is created for purpose of just self it remains just an idea but when the same creativity tends to become helpful for others as well it becomes an invention. This post of creatonnes showcases some of the awsome creations which might become a part of our daily routine in near future.

* iPad


Company - Apple.

Released - April 2010.

Features -

OS - iPad runs the iPhone OS . It runs iPad-specific applications as well as ones written for the iPod touch and iPhone, including e-book readers.

Display - a multi-touch LCD display for most user interactions.

Connections - WiFi or a 3G cellular network.

Cost - around $500.

Trivia - The iPad is a tablet computer(aimed between smartphones and laptops) developed by Apple, meant for internet browsing, media consumption, gaming, and light content creation. Unlike many older tablets, it does not use a stylus for input and instead uses fingertips.

* Got attachments for your mail? Just drag and drop in your gmail-

Features - You can attach as many files (under 20MB total). Just select files from anywhere on your PC or Mac, drag them to the Gmail's 'Attach Files' area and drop them. You'll notice the progress bar showing the attachment status of those files.

Trivia - Yes, its true Google has added new file drag and drop feature support in Gmail to add attachments besides the multi-attachment feature included in February last year. Currently, this feature works only in latest builds of Firefox 3.6 and Google Chrome. This new attachment adding feature will surely make your life easy but still you've to ensure that you select the correct files. Google promised to bring this support for other browsers soon.

Technology - A 3D television is a television that employs techniques of 3D presentation, such as stereoscopic capture, multi-view capture, or 2D plus depth, and a 3D display—a special viewing device to project a television program into a realistic three-dimensional field.These TVs with LCD shutter glasses, where they tell the glasses which eye should see the image being exhibited at the moment, creating a stereoscopic image. These TV sets usually support HDMI 1.4 and a minimum (input and output) refresh rate of 120Hz; glasses may be sold separately.


Trivia - Many 3-D channels and media are already line up, as of 2008, 3D programming is broadcast on Japanese cable channel BS 11 approximately four times per day. Sky made a channel called Sky Sports 3D. It started in early 2010. Sky Movies 3D will come out in autumn, ESPN and many others are planning to air their 3D versions too. Toshiba, Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, and LG all have plans to introduce 3D capabilities (mostly in higher-end models) in TVs available sometime in 2010.3D Blu-ray players and DirecTV broadcasts are also expected in 2010. Samsung began selling the UN55C7000, its first 3D ready TV, late in February 2010.

The Chinese manufacturer TCL has developed a 42-inch LCD 3D TV called the TD-42F, does not require any special glasses, with a price tag of whopping $20,000!

Technologies that are used - Speech recognition, flexible touch screen, touch sensitive body cover which lets it understand and adjust to the environment.

The functionality of design - You dont have to carry it in your pocket or on your wrist. You can carry it anywhere, in anyform. You can roll it, bend it, put on your clothes like a clip. It also makes some form changes that makes it more ergonomical: i.e. when you want to talk on the phone, the body form turns into the form of the good old telephone. You can personalize these forms and record them. So it fits you the best in the way that you have chosen. The functions that it has also create a feeling of electronical pet, as it senses your moves, understand what you want, respond you in the best way. It learns you, to fit you better.


Trivia - You can change the form of the body. Not just the color. And you can do the same by sending an e-motion to your friend, e-motions, lets you send forms to the other 888 users. It could be the shape of a heart or a small dance. This way you can talk without words.It has a simple programmable body mechanism so that it changes forms in different situations.
